The Terraforma Systems x Regenerative Waste Labs partnership was created to identify opportunities for processing organizations' organic waste into a valuable resource, either via an open-loop solution or a closed-loop solution.
With Terraforma's technology and equipment, and the research methodology developed by the biologists and chemists at Regenerative Waste Labs, we design customized processes to transform an organization's organic waste into a valuable material tailored for a specific reuse application.
Our Research & Development Methodology is executed over three phases:
Phase One: Business Case for Closed-Loop vs. Open-Loop Solutions
We identify the highest value areas of opportunity considering both open- and closed-loop solutions for producing a high-value material from the organic waste. Specifically, we outline the economic and environmental costs associated with all potential solutions, factoring in the cost of carbon offsets, GHG emissions, and potential price points of products. We also identify customers, and if required, key partners necessary to the implementation of the proposed solution.
Phase Two: Optimization of the Waste Regeneration Process
We conduct research and development activities to optimize parameters required to process the organic waste into the highest-valued material identified in Phase One. Our objective here is to optimize the chemical and biological properties of the material and maximize the throughput of the waste management process.
Phase Three: Build and Installation of Waste Regeneration Technology
